NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURES ALONG NIAGARA PARKWAY
SUNDAY JUNE 3, 2012
Niagara Falls, ON – The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) wishes to notify residents and businesses of the following road closures scheduled along sections of the Niagara Parkway and Upper Rapids Boulevard on Sunday, June 3, 2012:
From 6:00 a.m. – to approximately 12:00 p.m., all four lanes of Upper Rapids Blvd., as well as the Niagara Parkway from Weaver Road to Clifton Hill will be closed to vehicular traffic for the Niagara Falls Women’s Half Marathon.
The section of the Niagara Parkway from Murray Street to Clifton Hill will remain closed to vehicular traffic until 1:00 p.m. for the Niagara Parks Police 125th Anniversary Parade Celebration.
Rapidsview Parking Lot will remain accessible via Portage Rd. (Marineland Parkway) and a Falls shuttle will be available to take visitors to Table Rock complex and attendees of the Police 125th anniversary to Police Headquarters beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Normal operations are expected to resume at 1:00 p.m.
