Disclosure of Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses

The public disclosure of these expenses is an important part of NPC’s commitment to increase openness, transparency and accountability at NPC.

This section provides regular updates on the travel, meal and hospitality expenses incurred by the Commissioners, General Manager and Senior Staff of NPC.

All expense claims are subject to oversight and approval and are reimbursed if the expense is appropriate and reasonable.

The principles for reimbursement of expenses include:

  • Public dollars are used prudently and responsibly with a focus on accountability and transparency;
  • Expenses for travel, meals and hospitality support NPC objectives;
  • Plans for travel, meals and accommodation and hospitality are necessary and economical with due regard for health and safety
