The Niagara Parks Commission is one of the largest employers in the Niagara Region, with over 1,600 full and seasonal employees. An agency of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, our mission is to preserve and enhance the Niagara River corridor from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario, all for the enjoyment of visitors from around the world. Niagara Parks does not receive taxpayer dollars, but raises the revenues to maintain 1,325 hectares of parkland containing significant natural and historic assets, through the operation of attractions, restaurants, gift shops, parking lots and golf courses.
